FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Author Shares her Journey into the Church Pastorate and out of the Pastorate in her new book: Diary of a Woman Pastor

DFW, Sept. 24, 2007 – Sheritha Bowman, playwright, publisher and former pastor, warmly invites readers into her living room through her book, Diary of a Woman Pastor, where she shares with humor and sometimes with pain, her journals/memoirs of her journey from adolescence to the pastorate and beyond.

In Diary of a Woman Pastor, Mrs. Bowman takes us from her early years in urban Washington, D.C., through her shaky marriage, and finally to her new-found role doing ministry to help and encourage others. Through her book, she ministers love, hope, salvation through Jesus Christ, and leads many to finding out their life’s purpose. “Excellent book!”, says Pam Perry of Ministry Marketing Solutions. Mrs. Bowman shares with us her journey to rediscovering God’s purpose for her life – not as a pastor ministering from the pulpit, which she followed for some years, but as one ministering through the printed page and the stage.

Mrs. Bowman is the author of several other books as well, including: Soul Inspiration for Women Married to Unbelievers, This Too Shall Pass, and Emails for the Christian Soul. She has coming in 2008: God, Do You Like Jazz Music? Mrs. Bowman is publisher of the monthly writer’s e-zine The BOOK Suite. She is also founder of Soul Inspiration Theatre Company.

You can find out more about Sheritha Bowman on her website at: www.sherithabowman.com. Her books are available wherever fine books are sold, including Amazon.com.
