ATLANTA, (August 28, 2008) -– Licensed minister, former nurse, and author, Barbara Smith, discusses in a candid, friendly, and conversational tone the biblical and medical perspectives of rape in her book, From Ashes to Glory. Having worked as a registered nurse for over twenty years, Smith has firsthand experience in working with rape victims and victims of sexual abuse, as well as their families.
