Author and Police Officer Pens Heartfelt Book for
his Daughter (and your Daughter), entitled:
DEAR RHONDA: Life Lessons From a Father to His Daughter

ATL, December 27, 2007 – Demitri Kornegay, police officer in the Montgomery County, Maryland Police Department, realized that his life was in danger every day and he feared that he would not be able to share all of the knowledge that he had accumulated throughout his life with his daughter, and only child, Rhonda. Because of that, he began to write letters to his daughter on the important subjects of life including: God, Relationships, Love & Marriage, Decision Making, Dating, Dealing with Death, Handling Depression, etc.

He compiled these letters into a book entitled Dear Rhonda: Life Lessons From a Father to His Daughter. What is so unique about this book is that the "chapters" remain in their letter format, thus keeping its original personal touch. This book targets young women ages 12–30. This book also encourages conversations between children and parents on the various topics addressed.
