FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Raina T. Shaw, Author of
the Exciting, New Book,
Ridiculous Situations, Challenges Women to take
Control of Their Lives and Fulfill Their Destiny
ATL,
December 14, 2007 -- Raina T. Shaw powerfully shares with women
in her new book, Ridiculous Situations
that: "Gone is the man shortage myth because there is no lack or shortage in
God. Gone are the days of trying to buy love. No more showing up half dressed
with desperate eyes that say... Please abuse me. Please ruin my credit. Please
move into my house. Please drive around in my car all day long whilst I am at
work and so on and so on...Today is a New Day!"
No more of these Ridiculous Situations!
“You can have a wonderful, close, loving relationship with your
Heavenly Father, the lover of your soul. You know your Heavenly
Father’s character and you know that He would not send anyone into your life to deplete you. You are new and improved (no longer bitter) and now you require everyone in your life—not just male suitors—to be the same,"
says Shaw.
Through the pages of
Ridiculous Situations, Raina Shaw encourages women to have
high self-esteem, and to find and fulfill their passion, purpose and destiny in
God. By putting God first, she teaches women that they don’t have to go searching in all the wrong places to find
love. Raina Shaw shows women how to attract and sustain loving, long-term, healthy,
relationships through Jesus Christ. She also shares with women the
following:
-
how to commit to a life of faith in Jesus Christ
- how to break the cycle of negative relationships
- how to abolish self-limiting beliefs and fears of being alone
- how to recognize who they are in Jesus Christ
Raina
Shaw, best known as a savvy entertainment pro who has worked in
radio, the recording industry and in publishing, has recently
added another title to her impressive resume—author. A Los
Angeles native, Ms. Shaw has worked with top artists such as Bob
Marley, L.A. Reid, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Soul II Soul,
Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, Eric Benet, Sean Paul and others as a
concert promoter. Additionally, as a consultant she has worked
for several music executives and record labels such as Airtight
Entertainment and Anansi/JAD Records; she was associate producer
of the highly successful Urban Fest L.A. held at the University
of Southern California; and she has also delved into the film
world, conducting interviews with several gospel stars for the
film “Higher Ground.” As an author Ms. Shaw hopes that her words
will help her fulfill her “assignment in the body of Christ.”
“Because even with all the worldly accomplishments I still
suffered from low self esteem and was often operating outside of
God’s will in many of my endeavors,” she says. “The Lord placed
Ridiculous Situations on my heart
because a lot of the suffering amongst single believers stems
from not putting God first and not being serious about our
assignment in the body of Christ. I know that once we begin to
put first things first that total fulfillment in every area of
life will manifest.”
