FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Inspirational Novel, SEASONS, by Bonnie Hopkins,
Encourages Us to “Let Go and Let God”

Atl., March 10, 2008 – Author, Bonnie Hopkins, through her inspiring novel, SEASONS, reminds
us that we do not have to pull over and park at any of the stop signs
in our lives. Yes, stop, but keep the engine of your life running and
prepare to take off again. These stop or rest periods represent the change of
seasons in our lives, or, if you will, the ending and the beginning of
chapters in our lives.
Bonnie
Hopkins, through the events in the lives of her three main characters:
Jaci Winters, Maxie Jackson, and Jason Gilmore, quite eloquently plays
out the verse in Ecclesiastes 3:1: “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
Jaci
Winters learns the hard way that many times our seasons are determined
by our own choices, and before we can successfully move from one season
to the next, we must confront and resolve the issues from past seasons.
Maxie Jackson abandoned Jaci and their child years ago, now he is sorry
and wants to come back. Jason Gilmore believes that Jaci is God's woman
for him. Now, he is ready to be her husband....or is he?
All of these characters will soon find out that the seasons they go
through, whether good or bad, is due to choices that they make
throughout their lives.
Here is what others have to say about SEASONS:
“This
wonderfully well-written and compelling book looks at the life of a
single woman’s “seasons,” from the raging storms of her life’s winter
to the sun-drenched days of her summers—and how she endure it all with
God’s love. Seasons is an impactful, provoking novel, reminding us
that we do not have to stay in the pit life may place us, but climb out
of the pit, place our trust in God and allow Him to cover our backs!”
— Romance In Color
“Seasons
is a wonderful, heartwarming book that reminds us all that God is
always present no matter what season we are in. The characters and the
situations they endure will stay with you long after the book has
ended!”
— The Good Girl Reviewers
“Hopkins
writes simply and truthfully of that thing called life. And she does
it with interesting characters and a plot that makes you want to race
to the end. This novel helped me look at life, my own in particular,
and helped me rejoice in the ways I have grown, changed and developed
into the woman God made. Seasons might just make you smile, and you
might wipe a tear or two at the abundance of God’s love.”
—Arm Chair Interviews
“Bonnie
Hopkins has written a thorough character study that is immersed in a
compelling plot. The Christian themes are subtle, but at the same
time, evident. The characters, though Christian, have flaws and are
well-rounded; this adds to the realism and keeps the book from coming
across as preachy...I really liked the way the author incorporated the
seasons theme throughout the story while presenting encouraging
messages about strength over adversity, faith in God, and overcoming
fears.”
—The Rawsistaz
You
will
be encouraged to not fear walking into a new season in your life, as
you realize that you are more than a conqueror, that God is
in complete control, and that He
will not give you more than you can bear.
